Mumbai, April 30, 2022: Somaiya Vidyavihar University organised the 6th edition of Library Technology Conclave - LTC 2022 in association with Informatics. The theme of the conference was Research Data Management and Stewardship: Building Blocks of Open Science. 

 

Research Data, the lubricant that accelerates science, is a critical part of the research process. The Open Science doctrine of reproducibility and transparency of research data improves research quality, spurs diverse applications, and growth in science and industry. Research Data Management is an emerging challenge for researchers, information scientists and research policy planners.

 

The three day conclave focused on:

1. Two workshops on Research Data Management by two international experts.
2. Six Thematic Sessions, each with a keynote by six international experts.
3. Six Panel discussions, one each on the topic of the thematic session.
4. A session on Case-studies in Innovations.
