"Food grade ethyl acetate is a colourless, fragrant, low-boiling solvent primarily used as an aroma enhancer and flavouring agent. For example, it is used in artificial fruit essence and gives artificial flavours such as pineapple, bananas and strawberry in confectionary, ice-creams, cakes etc.
